It’s all about the breath.
And my secret weapon NO 1- One Minute Breath


 It is all about breathing. How we breathe can literally change our entire life. It can help us to become more centered, more effective and it helps us to understand our full potential.

Our life is divided between our first and our last breath and what we do with it in between. So becoming aware of our breath brings us not only direct into the present moment but it also helps us to become aware of our full potential and teaches us how to access it. Sounds pretty cool so far, right?
The ancient yogis knew about the power of breathing and how you can change your entire life with it and made pranayama (breathing exercises) a major part of their yoga practice.

The one breathing technique that helps me going through difficult and challenging moments is the 1 Minute Breath. I use it to center myself before important appointments or when I find myself in a difficult situation – like a traffic jam when you already know you don’t have time or an argument with your beloved.

 One Minute Breath
It is a Breathing Technique from Kundalini Yoga in the tradition of Yogi Bhajan. It is simple, its effective and you can do it anywhere you want – in the car, in the supermarket, at home. Whenever you need a calm mind, or you starting to feel anxious or worried.
One Minute Breath = 1 cycle per minute. 20 seconds to inhale, 20 seconds hold, 20 seconds to exhale.
I recommend 3 cycles of 1 Minute Breath – so 3 minutes in total.

In the beginning it might seem hard to inhale for such a long time or hold the breath for such a long time – that is normal and totally ok. Just work yourself up to it and count faster in the beginning.
