I made this incredible smoothie the other day inspired by my son, because he asked me for a blue smoothie. And you know it's not easy to get them into the good stuff, so I said sure I make you a blue smoothie and got creative in the kitchen.
This smoothie is absolutely tasty and full of antioxidants and endorphine increasing blueberries. And also a guilt-free sweet treat for you and your friends and family.
(makes 2 servings)
-250 g blueberries
-1/2 dragonfruit (pitaya)
-1 frozen banana
-2 teaspoons peanut butter
-150 ml almond milk ( or any other nut milk of your choice)
1-00 ml water
-a pinch of fresh vanilla bean
-a pinch of sea salt
-put all the Ingredients in a good blender - I use the Vitamix since years and still love it - and blend until it's creamy.
-serve in a mason jar or any other transparent glass to enjoy the full blue colour
-use some dragon fruit for decoration some cinnamon for topping
